Volunteers

A volunteer at the Archives

Since the establishment of the Central Zionist Archives, its activity has been based on the dedicated work of professionals. Over the years, the CZA's activity has considerably widened, and the need for additional help grew, in order to deal with the various archival materials and make them available to the academic community and to the general public. Since the 1990's, many volunteers have taken part in the Archive's activity. They have a diverse professional background, and contribute to the CZA's staff by sharing their professional experience and personal knowledge. Some of them help in restoring archival materials in a bad physical condition; others catalog the maps, photographs, and genealogical documents in the Archive.

We would like to express our deep gratitude for the expertise, dedication, and professionalism of all our volunteers.
