The photo collection the Central Zionist Archive includes rare photographs from the life of Herzl and his family. One of the most important historical events depicted in the collection is, for example, Herzl's only trip to Palestine at the end of the 19th century. The gallery before you includes a rare photo from that trip, in which Herzl in seen playing the piano on the deck of the ship. The collection also includes photos from family events, photos that allow a sneak peek into the Herzl family life, such as vacation photographs, some of which are displayed here before you.
